Grandon Rhodes was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rhodes's earliest roles were in film, including the drama "The Impostor" (1944) with Jean Gabin, the historical drama "Magnificent Doll" (1946) with Ginger Rogers and the drama "Born to Kill" (1947) with Claire Trevor. He also appeared in "Too Many Winners" (1947), "Ride the Pink Horse" (1947) and "Walk a Crooked Mile" (1948). He kept working in film throughout the forties and the fifties, starring in the Randolph Scott action film "Canadian Pacific" (1949), "It Happens Every Spring" (1949) with Ray Milland and "Tell It to the Judge" (1949) with Rosalind Russell. He also appeared in the adventure "The Lost Volcano" (1950) with Johnny Sheffield. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "Human Desire" (1954) with Glenn Ford, the John Agar horror feature "Revenge of the Creature" (1955) and the Glenn Ford dramatic adaptation "Trial" (1955). He also appeared in the Ray Milland western "A Man Alone" (1955) and the Claudette Colbert western "Texas Lady" (1955). Rhodes last acted in "The Bramble Bush" (1960) with Richard Burton. Rhodes passed away in June 1987 at the age of 83.
