Edwin Max was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Edwin Max's career beginnings included film roles in the comedic fantasy "Stairway to Heaven" (1947) with Kim Hunter, the drama "Abandoned" (1949) with Dennis O'Keefe and "Follow Me Quietly" (1949). He went on to act in "The Law of the Barbary Coast" (1949), the Richard Conte drama "Thieves' Highway" (1949) and "Love That Brute" (1950) with Paul Douglas. He also appeared in the Betty Grable musical "Meet Me After the Show" (1951), "Bloodhounds of Broadway" (1952) and the Alex Rebar horror movie "The Incredible Melting Man" (1977). Later in his career, Edwin Max appeared in "The Gift" (CBS, 1979-1980). Edwin Max passed away in October 1980 at the age of 71.
