Will Stanton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Stanton began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the Charlotte Henry fantasy "Alice in Wonderland" (1933), "Lloyd's of London" (1936) with Freddie Bartholomew and the Randolph Scott action picture "The Last of the Mohicans" (1936). He also appeared in "Affairs of Cappy Ricks" (1937). He continued to act in productions like "Four Men and a Prayer" (1938), the comedic adaptation "Straight, Place, and Show" (1938) with The Ritz Brothers and the action flick "Captain Fury" (1939) with Brian Aherne. He also appeared in "Devil's Island" (1939). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the musical "The Little Princess" (1939) with Shirley Temple Black, the Jack Benny comedy adaptation "Charley's Aunt" (1941) and "A Guy, a Gal and a Pal" (1945) with Ross Hunter. Stanton was most recently credited in the comedic fantasy "Charley and the Angel" (1973) with Fred MacMurray. Stanton passed away in December 1969 at the age of 84.
