Synopsis

After secretly marrying Dorothy Arden, his father Godfrey's secretary, Robert Lovell has an argument with her on a yacht trip, and so begins a flirtation with Dorothy Casselis, whom Godfrey wants him to marry. Then, a storm strands Robert and the two women on an island, and Robert loses his memory in an accident. His wife tries to convince him that they are, indeed, married, prompting the other Dorothy, who believes the secretary wants to win Robert away from her, to insist that she herself is his wife. A confused Robert welcomes the rescuers when they arrive a few days later, and he soon regains his memory. He then recognizes his real wife, and after telling his father about the secret wedding, manages to win Godfrey's approval of the marriage.
