Synopsis

To preserve his parents' marriage, Dick Temple goes to jail for the crimes committed by his father. Then, after his release, he can locate neither his family nor a job, and so decides to kill himself. He soon meets Doris, however, who has also decided on suicide, and the two of them begin a romance, after which Doris finds work as a nursemaid for the Wilsons, and Dick gets a job with John Graham, a broker with a shady past. John then coerces Dick to help him rob the Wilson home, while Doris' Uncle Jake forces her to let him break in. When the crooks arrive at the same time, Dick starts a fight between John and Jake, who eventually kill each other. Then, after Dick discovers that his long-absent mother also works in the Wilson home, he and Doris are married.
