Synopsis
Dr. Hobart Hupp, who believes he can cure criminals by surgery, is about to experiment on Dago Red, who has been promised freedom if the operation is successful, when he is reminded that it is his wedding day. Estrella De Morgan, daughter of a socially prominent family, is waiting to become his bride, although she is actually in love with young Arthur Simmons. En route, Hupp is mistaken by the charming Annabelle Landis for her chauffeur, and deciding to desert the waiting bride, he drives Annabelle to her home, 300 miles away. There she is halted by her parents, who want her to marry another man. Dago Red now appears to rescue the doctor, and with a minister and Annabelle they row to an island. There they find Estrella, who has eloped with Arthur, and the parents arrive to find them all married.
