Clarence Burton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Burton's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "The Frame-Up" (1917), "Male and Female" (1919) and "The Love Special" (1921). He also appeared in "Miss Lulu Bett" (1921), "One Glorious Day" (1922) and "The Impossible Mrs. Bellew" (1922). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the twenties, appearing in "Adam's Rib" (1923), the anthology "Hollywood" (1923) with Hope Drown and "The Ten Commandments" (1923). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in "Rubber Tires" (1927), "King of Kings" (1927) and "The Fighting Eagle" (1927). He also appeared in "Submarine" (1928) and "Chicago" (1928). Burton last acted in the Fredric March drama "The Sign of the Cross" (1932). Burton passed away in December 1933 at the age of 51.
