British-born Michael Sarne was an accomplished actor who appeared in many Hollywood films throughout his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Sarne landed roles in various films, including the Leslie Phillips dramedy "No Kidding" (1961), "On the Fiddle" (1961) with Alfred Lynch and "Hands Up!" Biography

British-born Michael Sarne was an accomplished actor who appeared in many Hollywood films throughout his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Sarne landed roles in various films, including the Leslie Phillips dramedy "No Kidding" (1961), "On the Fiddle" (1961) with Alfred Lynch and "Hands Up!" (1967) with Bogomil Kobiela. He also appeared in the Jeremy Irons drama "Moonlighting" (1982). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in the drama "Success Is the Best Revenge" (1984) with Michael York, the Peter Ustinov suspenseful mystery "Appointment With Death" (1988) and the action film "Riding the Edge" (1989) with Raphael Sbarge. He also landed roles in the miniseries "Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again" (1989-1990) and "Night of the Fox" (1990-91). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the romance "Besame Mucho" (2000) with Ryan Early, the crime drama "Eastern Promises" (2007) with Viggo Mortensen and "Forgiveness" (2008). He also appeared in the Hugh Jackman smash hit dramatic adaptation "Les Misérables" (2012). Sarne's distinctive voice can be heard on "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" (2011). Most recently, Sarne acted in the Simon Pegg action comedy "The World's End" (2013).
