Synopsis

Tom and Anna Gibson, along with their little boy, Buddy, form a successful vaudeville song-and-dance act and a happy family. Anna, however, is worried about her son's future when she finds him playing ball, forgetting a performance; she determines to retire from the stage temporarily to give Buddy a proper home environment. Tom, a hardened trouper, is not in sympathy with her plans, and when Mazie, a flirtatious blonde, applies to take Anna's place, Tom accepts her. Tom finally confesses to Anna that he is in love with Mazie; she moves away and supports Buddy as a cafe entertainer, soon placing him in a military school. Learning of the rift between his parents, Buddy persuades his father to leave Mazie, and they are all unexpectedly reunited in a rendition of their old stage act.
