Synopsis
In the closing days of World War II Japanese defenses are strung thinly along the Manchurian border, always susceptible to attack by the advancing Soviet army. Five Japanese soldiers occupy a pillbox in the face of enemy fire, despite the fact that all other pillboxes in the area have been captured. One by one, the Japanese soldiers are killed, and the pillbox is captured.
