Synopsis

Harald, the Viking prince, returns to Viken after spending years at sea and learns that his father has been murdered by treacherous King Sven of Norway. When he also learns that Sven plans to form an alliance with the Danes by forcing his half sister, Hilde, to marry the Danish king, Harald rallies the surviving Vikings and plots his revenge. Posing as Danes, he and his men penetrate Sven's formidable fortress. A rival Viking chieftain, Haakon, exposes the deception, however, and Harald is unmasked. He manages to escape, but his younger brother Guntar is killed. After returning to the Great Viking Hall and slaying the villainous Haakon, Harald leads the attack against Sven's fortress. The king is killed, Hilde is rescued, and peace is restored to Viken.
