Synopsis

Following the assassination of his father, Prince Said of Arabia flees into the desert with a band of his loyal followers. In order to procure arms for a revolt against the new sheik, Ibrahim, Prince Said and his men attack passing caravans. During one such raid, Princess Amina, Ibrahim's daughter, is taken prisoner. Prince Said, however, having mistaken her for a palace singer, Fatima, sets her free. Later, while disguised as a bird charmer, Prince Said again meets Amina and falls in love with her, although he remains unaware of her identity. Eventually Ibrahim is murdered by the evil Selim, who proclaims himself the new sultan. The populace revolts and storms the palace when Selim captures Prince Said and imprisons him. Prince Said kills Selim in a duel and assumes his rightful place on the throne with Amina as his bride.
