Synopsis

Hagen is a young homeless man who has opted out of his previous middle-class life. His new 'family' includes prostitute Liane and other characters. Runaway Judith joins the group and although he suspects she is just slumming it, they begin an affair. After being caught for having sex on a train, she is taken back to her parents, and Hagen is warned for abducting a minor. Meanwhile, another of the homeless 'family', who has been hopelessly in love with Liane, stabs her for taking up with another man. Hagen decides to recover his life, go straight, and find Judith again.
