Synopsis
Grief-stricken at the death of her soldier lover, Dora Prentiss is persuaded to marry a financier whom she does not love. The marriage is not successful, and the husband departs for the South Seas, leaving a suicide note. While he enjoys something akin to an orgy amid dark-skinned dancers, the soldier reappears and brings happiness to the girl. The husband also returns, but he cannot bring himself to destroy his wife's obvious bliss and disappears.
