Synopsis
Disguised as a man, Countess Tyrecastle follows Lundi Druro to Africa after he saves her from suicide, although she knows he is engaged. His fiancée proves to be unfaithful, however, and she rehabilitates Druro when he becomes despondent. Together they discover a valuable gold mine, and she reveals her identity following the death of Conrad Lypiatt, a treacherous partner.
