When the sacred bell cracks, Foo is commisssioned by the emperor to cast a new one, but the metals refuse to mingle and he is threatened with death. In a Tartar attack, Quong Sung is killed; Moy Tai learns from Chong that the metals will fuse only with the addition of a human sacrifice.
