Synopsis

Carefully sheltered by his maiden aunts and afraid of his own shadow, Simon Haldane is stunned to find a strange girl in his bedroom one morning, but he chivalrously summons a doctor to administer to her chill. The word leaks out that Simon is married, and the whole office staff of the Faulkner Iron Works visit Simon to have a look at Doris. Breezy salesman Ray Wyeth turns Doris' head for a while, but Simon--with newfound courage--not only wins her back but also emerges as manager in an office shakeup. Learning that Doris is the daughter of his employer, Simon falters briefly, but Doris saves the situation.
