Synopsis
A childhood friend of Private Investigator B.L. Stryker insists that he serve as her personal protector after she has survived assassination attempts. After dinner aboard the royal yacht, the Queen of Al Jalal, whom Stryker remembers as his childhood playmate, Carolann "Punky" Dunhurst, goes ashore with her guests. She watches in horror as the ship explodes with her husband, King Rashid, aboard. After two more attempts to kill her, Stryker begins to believe that the answer to the threats on Carolann's life can be found in the distant past.
