Synopsis
The children of a married couple on the verge of separating pool their resources to send their mother and father on a second honeymoon.
With their son and daughter away at college, flower nursery owner Maggie Weston and her workaholic banking vice president husband, George, are successful at keeping their marital woes a secret. When they are about to announce their plans for separation, they find themselves feted at a surprise party where they receive a non-refundable tropical vacation as a gift from their proud children and relatives. After Maggie and George agree on separate vacations at the resort, Maggie begins to fall for Dr. Phillip Luce. George begins his own flirtations with Gloria. George and Maggie decide to file for a quickie divorce, an island specialty, and end up at the office of Antonio Rivera. After trying to convince them to seek his services as a marriage counselor instead, he tells them the papers will be processed in 48 hours. When circumstances cause Maggie and George to share a sailboat, they crash onto rocks and are stranded. Forced to find shelter and food, they begin to enjoy each other's company.
