Synopsis
A young widowed woman is falsely accused of child pornography after her best friend takes questionable photographs of her daughter.
Best friends since college, Jen Bradley and Carrie Dixon have supported each other through the good times and bad, including the death of Jen's husband and Carrie's bout with ovarian cancer. When Carrie visits Cincinnati, Jen and her three young children, Lauren, Sophie and Luke are elated. As usual, Carrie's camera is always at work when the children are around. When Carrie returns home to Chicago, her photo lab, thinking there is something lascivious about the pictures, turns them over to police. Under questioning, a humiliated and angry Carrie explains her close relationship with the Bradleys. The Chicago police are fine with her explanation, but a Cincinnati detective in convinced the pictures contain sexual content. He removes the children from Jen's custody, triggering a relentless legal onslaught that threatens her family, as well as her friendship, leaving a lasting legacy of fear.
