Synopsis

The segments include: The Great Escape from Stalag Luft III which inspired the film of the same name; Escape Stories of the Resistance, which include the elite British unit called the "Moon Squadron" and a profile of French Resistance leader, Lucie Aubrac; Arizona POW Escape in which 25 German POW's escaped a U.S. prison on Christmas Eve 1944; and Dunkirk, the massive escape of over 330,000 men saved by civilian seaman and Navy ships.
