Synopsis
Samantha Clark, an insurance claims adjuster, suspects fraud when a $3 million claim is filed for a plane crash and the client's body is never found. Her investigation leads her to the Canadian Rockies where she meets Doc Kovac, a doctor who is a society dropout residing in the wilderness. Clark accepts Kovac's offer to take her to the crash site. During their hike up the mountain, Kovac instructs Clark on the basic laws of nature: hunting and killing as a way of life. His words soon take on an ominous tone, and when he leads her to a dark cave and the murdered body of her client, she realizes that he is the murderer. Clark makes a run for her life as she is forced into a deadly game where she becomes the "hunted."
