Synopsis

Hired killer Jake McCrory carries out a routine hit on local businessman Charles Broderick, while Broderick's young daughter Anna looks on in horror. But Jake himself is subsequently gunned down by Broderick's friend Timmy. As he hovers between life and death, Jake is visited by Broderick's spirit, who asks him to watch over his newly orphaned daughter. When he recovers, Jake honors his obligation, keeping track of Anna as she matures into a 22-year old woman. With Anna his one true obsession, Jake remains emotionally distant from wife Kelly, spending most of his nights secretly watching over Anna. Unbeknownst to Jake, Anna has lived her whole life waiting for the day she can take revenge on her father's killer- even seducing Jake's old nemesis Timmy to enlist his help. When Jake and Anna's paths finally cross, Jake manages to conceal his identity. But as his feelings for Anna compete with his need for redemption, Jake is faced with a difficult choice.
