Synopsis

The story follows the friendship that develops between Jane, a young wheelchair-bound woman suffering from Motor Neurone Disease and Richard, a struggling artist who is hired to take care of her. As Jane longs to regain control over her failing body and life, Richard struggles to rebuild from the failures of his artistic past. For him, this involves recreating vintage planes that can never fly, while Jane's desire for flight is metaphoric: she wants to lose her virginity before she dies.
