Biography

George Edwards worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Starting his entertainment career producing for the silver screen, his early credits included the Basil Rathbone sci-fi fantasy "Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet" (1965), the horror movie "Queen of Blood" (1966) with John Saxon and "Games" (1967). He also appeared in "What's The Matter With Helen?" (1971) with Debbie Reynolds, the Darrell Larson drama "Outside In" (1972) and the Ann Sothern drama "The Killing Kind" (1973). In the seventies and the eighties, Edwards devoted his time to various credits, such as "Ruby" (1977), "Harper Valley P.T.A." (1978) starring Barbara Eden and "Chattanooga Choo Choo" with Barbara Eden (1984). He also worked on "Stepfather 2" (1989) starring Terry O'Quinn. Edwards continued to exercise his talent in the nineties through the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Across the Tracks" with Ricky Schroder (1991), "Evil Spirits" (1991) and "Twenty-One" (1991). His credits also expanded to "Reno Holiday Festival on Ice" and "Queen of the D*mned" (2002) starring Stuart Townsend. Edwards most recently appeared on "Person To Person" (CBS, 2010-11).
