Charles McNaughton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McNaughton started his acting career landing roles in such films as the adaptation "Common Clay" (1930) with Constance Bennett, "The Bad One" (1930) and the mystery "Charlie Chan's Chance" (1932) with Warner Oland. He also appeared in the fantasy "Alice in Wonderland" (1933) with Charlotte Henry. He kept working in film throughout the thirties, starring in "Midnight Club" (1933), "The Big Brain" (1933) and the Wallace Beery adventure "Treasure Island" (1934). He also appeared in "East of Java" (1935). In the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the adaptation "Three Live Ghosts" (1935) with Richard Arlen, "The Black Swan" (1942) with Tyrone Power and the Joan Fontaine crime picture "Kiss the Blood Off My Hands" (1948). McNaughton was most recently credited in "Ruby" (1992) with Danny Aiello. McNaughton passed away in December 1955 at the age of 77.
