Patty Duke played Patty and Cathy Lane in The Patty Duke Show, which ran from September 1963 to August 1966 on ABC-TV. Her characters in the sitcom were identical cousins, one a typically brash American teen-ager and the other a reserved British lass. Duke, who already had a wealth of stage, film and television experience, became at age 17 the youngest person in TV history to have a prime-time television series with her name in the title. Duke is represented in TCM's festival by her Oscar-winning performance as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker (1962), Tuesday, June 3, 2:00 a.m. (ET)/11 p.m. (PT).
