Everyone's favorite tart-tongued high school English teacher made the transition from radio to television, and then headed to the silver screen once the TV ratings started to slip. In this final installment of the adventures of Miss Brooks (Eve Arden), a new job gets her romantically mixed up with the good-looking but obtuse biology teacher Phil (Robert Rockwell). While hiding their slow-moving romance from an anti-hanky-panky principal (Gale Gordon), she's still got to help her struggling students. With a plot that's more dramatic than the gag-laden radio and TV shows, Arden still gets in some zingers. While after this movie Arden moved on to television's The Eve Arden Show and never again played the part that made her famous, she later remarked in an interview that she liked to think of her cameo as Rydell High's school principal in Grease (1978) as Miss Brooks finally rising up in the school administration.
