Coquette

Having been left alone to wheedle her hunky but lower-caste and presumed-temporary boyfriend (Johnny Mack Brown) by her very accommodating usual suitor (Matt Moore), Southern belle Mary Pickford, playing the title role to the hilt, still early in her first talking picture, Coquette, 1929.
