Laugh, Clown, Laugh

Struggling to amuse a foundling girl, itinerant Italian clown Tito (Lon Chaney) persuades partner Simon (Bernard Siegel) to keep her by naming her "Simonetta," who grows up to 14-year-old Loretta Young, early in MGM's Laugh, Clown, Laugh, 1928.
