Clumsy Dutch kitchen maid Tina (Marion Davies) has introduced herself to dashing-but-approachable American speed skater Dennis Wheat (Owen Moore) in the moments leading up to the big race, early in The Red Mill, 1926, from William Randolph Hearst’s Cosmpolitan Pictures.

Opening scene, Marion Davies in one of her earliest true comic roles, as Dutch scullery maid Tina, George Siegmann her oppressive boss, and a mouse evidently named Ignatz, in The Red Mill, 1926, directed by the exonerated but still-stigmatized Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle, under a pseudonym.
