Starting at the speakeasy owned by incarcerated Jerry (Richard Barthelmess), director Frank Lloyd travels via radio to the prison where he’s performing (title song by Louis Silvers and Grant Clarke), Betty Compson his girl, Louis Natheaux a snarky rival, in the part-talking Weary River. 1929.
