Tara Buckman was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also was featured in the miniseries "Harold Robbins' "79 Park Avenue"" (1977-78). Buckman worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "The Rockford Files" (NBC, 1974-1980). She also starred in the TV movies "The Two-Five" (ABC, 1977-78) and "Stone" (ABC, 1978-79). She also starred in the TV movies "Brave New World" (1979-1980), "Death Car on the Freeway" (CBS, 1979-1980) and "Hart to Hart" (ABC, 1979-1980). She also appeared in "The Man in the Santa Claus Suit" (NBC, 1979-1980). She also worked in film during these years, including a part on the Burt Reynolds action flick "The Cannonball Run" (1981). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Lobo" (NBC, 1980-81). Buckman focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Alan Sues comedy "Snowballing" (1983), "The Marilyn Diaries" (1990) and the action picture "Xtro 2: The Second Encounter" (1991) with Jan-Michael Vincent. She also was featured in the TV movie "Blindfold: Acts of Obsession" (USA, 1993-94). She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Master" (NBC, 1983) and "Spies" (CBS, 1986-87). Buckman more recently worked on "In the Shadows, Someone's Watching" (NBC, 1993-94).
