Lost in America

Executing on their new liberated lifestyle, on their first night out of L-A, neurotic yuppies David and Linda (co-writer and director Albert Brooks, and Julie Hagerty) have parked the RV and decided to splurge on a Las Vegas hotel suite before renewing their vows, meeting Michael Cornelison then Radu Gavor, in Lost In America, 1985.

At their L-A sendoff party, David (co-writer and director Albert Brooks) and Linda (Julie Hagerty), who are liquidating and taking off in an RV, enjoy a lame toast (by Raynold Gideon), then a big moment playing off Easy Rider, (1969), the Steppenwolf song (composed by Mars Bonfire, a.k.a Dennis Edmonton) in Lost In America, 1985.

A successful, yuppie couple decide to leave the rat race and take off on a soul searching journey across America in Lost in America (1985).
