Director Tod Browning’s camera plunges into Transylvania and the first appearance of Bela Lugosi, though not his first Hollywood picture, in the title role, and Dwight Frye as English realtor Renfield, not as yet worried about his client having sent the coach to meet him at midnight, in Dracula, 1931.
