The Brave Bulls

Manager Raul (Anthony Quinn) meets recovering toreador Luis (Mel Ferrer) at his plane in Mexico City, where they proceed to the then-new Plaza Mexico stadium, then join his cuadrilla (his bull-ring support team, all actual Mexican professionals), in Robert Rossen’s The Brave Bulls, 1951.

The introduction by director Robert Rossen of star Mel Ferrer as celebrity bullfighter Luis Bello, who then gets gored, whereupon we meet his manager Fuentes (Anthony Quinn), then his ambitious younger brother Pepe (Eugene Iglesias), many scenes shot in Mexico, in The Brave Bulls, 1951.
