Rockabye

Toward the end of a night in which experienced actress Judy (Constance Bennett) has been proving to playwright Jake (Joel McCrea) that she's tough enough to play his lead role, a boisterous if under-written scene likely directed by George Cukor who re-shot much of the film, in Rockabye, 1932.

After the opening with racy headlines, showgirl Judy (Constance Bennett) on the stand, grilled by the D-A (Charles Middleton), denies any crooked doings with accused politician Howard (Walter Pidgeon), who appreciates, in Rockabye, 1932, directed in part by George Cukor.
