Tight Spot

Sherry Conley (Ginger Rogers) has been pulled from prison and escorted to a fancy hotel, and finally finds out from D-A Hallett (Edward G. Robinson) that it’s because her mob-witness ex-boyfriend got murdered, Brian Keith the cop keeping custody, in director Phil Karlson’s Tight Spot, 1955.

After a mob witness got killed in the opening, we don’t know how Ginger Rogers, as inmate Sherry Conley, is related, but she’s showing a new gal (Lucy Marlow) the ropes, when maybe benevolent prison officer Willoughby (Katherine Anderson) interrrupts, in Tight Spot, 1955, also starring Edward G. Robinson.
