Editor Haggerty (Keenan Wynn), who's just been tricked into over-paying ex-reporter Bill (Van Johnson) to help him beat a libel suit, realizes his own girl Gladys (Lucille Ball, performing a tune by Johnny Green and Ralph Blane), is perfect for their scheme, in MGM's Easy To Wed, 1946.
