Hercules, Samson & Ulysses

Shipwrecked after a bad encounter with a sea monster, Hercules and Ulysses (Kirk Morris, Enzo Cerusico) and their crew realize they’ve landed in Judea, where the third title character Samson (the Iranian-Persian actor/body-builder Iloosh Khoshabe, billed here as Richard Lloyd) lurks incognito, in Hercules, Samson & Ulysses, 1963.

Our heroes (Kirk Morris as bearded Hercules and Enzo Cerusico as caped Ulysses) have requested a ship from their Ithacan king Laertes (Franco Fantasia) to go after a pesky sea monster, Penelope (Stefania Sabatini) and Mrs. Hercules (Diletta D’Andrea) skeptical, action ensuing, in the Italian-made, MGM-released Hercules, Samson & Ulysses, 1963.

In the MGM-released Italian-produced historical-fantasy, after 30-plus minutes the first appearance of third-billed Liana Orfei as Delilah, the dancing queen of the Phillistines, performing for her distracted husband (Aldo Giuffrè), who’s worried about the elusive Judean rebel Samson, in Hercules, Samson & Ulysses, 1963.

The evil king of the Phillistines is introduced here trampling a Judean town, (Aldo Giuffrè as “the Saran”), looking for the fugitive rebel Samson, not knowing he’s following clues left by visiting Greek Hercules, but letting his troops loose when the inhabitants won’t cooperate, in the Italian-made Hercules, Samson & Ulysses, 1963.
