Jimmy (Robert Montgomery) has contrived to arrive with Claire (Ann Harding), posing as his "cousin" and date, annoying his hoped-for girlfriend, novelist Mary (Myrna Loy), who doesn't know she's the wife of her lusty publisher, Alice Brady their hostess, in When Ladies Meet, 1933.
