Brief Synopsis

Berlin, 1933. Professor Viktor Roth enjoys a comfortable life, and his daughter is courted by two young men. One opposes the Nazis and is forced to flee, while the other joins them. When Roth speaks out, he is arrested and his family forced into hiding.
