Just docked in Skagway, Alaska with his cattle from Wyoming, James Stewart as Jeff Webster, fleeing a trumped-up murder charge, encounters the local law (John McIntire as “Judge” Gannon), rescued by his partners (Walter Brennan, Jay C. Flippen), Ruth Roman with ironic observations, early in Anthony Mann’s The Far Country, 1955.
