Clunky-looking 80’s computer and mad-scientist stuff with Jeffrey Combs as Crawford, shifting to the pretty darn weird, which he rushes to tell colleague Pretorius (Ted Sorel), from then-hot Re-Animator (1985) director Stuart Gordon, working again from H.P. Lovecraft, but shooting in Italy, opening From Beyond, 1986.
