Godzilla Raids Again

Thanks to a bunch of idiot convicts trying to escape in a gas truck during the otherwise successful evacuation of Osaka, the title character, who had been lured out to sea with flares, is drawn back by the fireball, but also intercepted by a rival, in Godzilla Raids Again, 1955.

All of Osaka is relieved as the title character has apparently headed elsewhere, Miyoko Hoshino the singer in a cabaret where Tsukioka and Hidemi (Hiroshi Koizumi, Setsuko Wakayama) dance, then bad news and all sorts of action, in the first sequel, Godzilla Raids Again, 1955.

Sea-plane tuna-spotter pilot Tsukioka (Hiroshi Koizumi) finds colleague Kobayashi (Mindru Chiaki), landed with engine trouble, off an island near Osaka arrives to rescue when they’re interrupted by the title character, who’s got a new enemy, in the first sequel from Toho Films, Godzilla Raids Again, 1955.
