Still in the same outfit from their absurd non-sexual encounter the night before, married title-character Julie Christie shows up with the tuba they’d only talked about, at the mod San Francisco apartment of divorcing doctor Archie (George C. Scott), who ends up calling pal Arthur Hill, in director Richard Lester’s stubbornly unorthodox Petulia, 1968.
