Stan (Laurel) and Oliver (Hardy) have just left a note for the (enraged) commandant (Charles Middleton) that they?re leaving the French Foreign Legion, since Oliver has now succeeded in forgetting his French girlfriend, pausing for a 1908 standard by Nora Bayes and Jack Norworth, in The Flying Deuces, 1939.
