Opening in gloomy Glasgow, director Bertrand Tavernier introduces Harvey Keitel as Roddy whom, we’ll learn, has had a camera implanted in his eye, in the high-brow science fiction feature Death Watch, 1980, from a novel by David Compton, co-starring Romy Schneider.
