The event from which the title arises, Igor (Jeremie Renier) finds labor inspectors are arriving at the site where he and his uncle (Olivier Gourmet) employ their exploited foreign workers, Rasmane Ouedraogo as the unfortunate Hamidou, in La Promesse, 1996, from Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne.
