The Key

English WWII tugboat captain Chris (Trevor Howard) brings just-arrived old-pal Canadian colleague Ross (William Holden) home to meet his until now un-announced girlfriend Stella (Sophia Loren), her back-story vague, in The Key, 1958, directed by Carol Reed from a Jan de Hartog novel.
